Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners’ Silsita (f, 3, Macho Uno–Naturally Wild, by Wild Again) sat a stalking trip from a three-wide perch in third, came after unlikely pacesetter Broken Spell (Broken Vow) entering the final furlong and, though that rival boxed on gamely at the fence in the waning strides, got her nose down on the wire first to land Saturday’s restricted My Princess Jess S. at Saratoga.

A maiden winner at first asking over the Calder turf last November, the Florida-bred was a good third to Coffee Clique (Medaglia d’Oro) in a first-level Gulfstream turf allowance before outlasting GI CCA Oaks hopeful Marathon Lady (Graeme Hall) by a nose in the GIII Bourbonette Oaks over the Turfway Poly March 23.

Her two most recent appearances came on the main track, a last-of-10 finish to stablemate Princess of Sylmar (Majestic Warrior) in the GI Kentucky Oaks May 3 and a runner-up effort in the off-turf Astronomia S. at Belmont Park June 13. Lifetime Record: 7-3-1-1, $171,725. O-Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners. B-Tanourin Stables (FL). T-Todd A Pletcher.
