Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners Makes $15,000 Donation to Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati Affiliate

In Lingerie’s win in the Grade II, $300,000, Black-Eyed Susan Stakes results in donation to local Cincinnati Affiliate.

June 19, 2012, Dayton, OH: Prior to In Lingerie’s run in the Grade II, $300,000, Black-Eyed Susan Stakes, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners partnered with the Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati Affiliate to structure a charitable relationship whereby In Lingerie would run on behalf of the organization to raise money. As a result of her subsequent win in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners has presented a check to the organization in the amount of $15,000.

To make the official check presentation, Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners’ Chairman, Lee Midkiff, was joined by his family and members of the Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati Affiliate team in a live presentation on Cincinnati Fox 19’s Morning Xtra show today. This presentation presented Eclipse with the opportunity to discuss its donation, its organization and In Lingerie, as well as provided the team from the Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati Affiliate with the ability to discuss their work in the Tri-State area to find a cure and raise awareness on breast cancer.

Commenting on the check presentation, Midkiff said, “We are honored and extremely pleased that In Lingerie’s win in the Black-Eyed Susan Stakes allowed us to make this donation to the Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati Affiliate. Many of our friends and family have been touched either directly or indirectly by breast cancer and we appreciate the opportunity to give locally to an organization doing such great work to find a cure.”
