Total Eclipse: A Phenomenal 15 Years
It’s unfathomable to think that tomorrow will mark the 15th anniversary of Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners’ 1st ever starter, Patrioticandrpoud, who set the tone for the stable by simultaneously becoming our 1st ever winner.
It’s been an absolute joy to be associated with the horses, and an honor to be associated with the people who have elevated Eclipse from a bold dream into reality—one of the most successful, recognized and respected operations worldwide.
We manifested the mantra “BELIEVE BIG” from the jump. Thanks to an ever-increasingly loyal and enthusiastic partner base, talented horsemen and women who devote their lives to our equine athletes and the HORSES, the HORSES, the HORSES, we’ve delivered Grade 1 results to our 1st class partners time and again for 15 years…and we are convicted that we are just getting started!
It’s only fitting that we rang in our 15th anniversary with yet another epic weekend of upper echelon results. After all, winning at the highest level across the country is the main reason our partners join Eclipse. And, who better to do it than a pair of exceptional #EclipseFillies, Warming and Classic Q, the former who captured her 3rd Graded Stakes of 2026 and the latter accomplishing the same feat, with 2 of the 3 coming in Grade 1 affairs.
Warming has been an outright treat since we acquired her for $100,000 as a 2 year-old in-training. Classic Q, a $40,000 yearling-turned private purchase, is now the leader for the Eclipse Award for Champion Turf Filly as she heads toward the Breeders’ Cup. The #EclipseFillies triumphs thrust the stable’s overall Stakes total to 16 wins in 2026, an unconscionable 13 of which have come in Graded events!
This is the type of output those who bleed baby blue and black have come to expect from Eclipse and doing so year in and year out with big horse after big horse, is what separates the men from the boys in this cut-throat industry.
We could not be more grateful, thankful and appreciative of the support our incredible partners have afforded Eclipse over the past 15 years. We are hungrier than ever to keep delivering the on- and off-track results our partners desire and deserve and we are intent on continuing to build a Hall of Fame worthy resume for everyone to share in due time.
We have always lived by the notion that winning the biggest races on the biggest days is how our stable speaks the loudest…allowing the horses to do the talking for us. We will let the upcoming races, our stats and the graphics contained within this edition of Total Eclipse to say it all.
