Belmont Park
Eclipse has a strong following in New York and in the 5 years since the stable was formed, the baby blue and black has stamped its impact on the New York Racing Association in a big way. Known as “Big Sandy” for its deep, sandy surface and for its wide, sweeping turns, Belmont Park was the site of one of Eclipse’s most thrilling winning moments when Curalina delivered an extraordinary performance in the 2015 rendition of the Grade 1, $750,000 Acorn on the same day that American Pharoah polished off the 3rd jewel of the Triple Crown in the Belmont Stakes.
