FUND FINANCIAL FACTS

The structure of the fund offers several advantages over Eclipse’s traditional single-horse partnership model:

  • The fund utilizes significantly lower markups than those typically associated with the retail partnership market, investors receive greater ownership value for every dollar invested

  • The fund benefits from operational efficiencies achieved by housing multiple horses within a single partnership entity. While each horse incurs its own direct expenses, the consolidation of multiple horses into one LLC substantially reduces indirect administrative expenses

  • From a tax perspective, each horse within the fund is tracked as a separate activity. This allows passive losses attributable to an individual horse to be recognized when that horse is sold, rather than requiring investors to wait until the entire partnership is liquidated.  *Every investor’s tax situation is unique, partners are encouraged to consult their personal tax advisor regarding the application of these rules to their individual circumstances

FUND FILLY SUCCESS

In only a handful of crops the Filly’s Fund has found Graded success on the racetrack for our and brought the thrills of the American Classics to our partners.

Meaning a $440,000 Keeneland Book 1 purchase, she broke her maiden at 1st asking as a juvenile before being thrusted into the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies in only her 2nd career start.  Missing hitting the board by a devastating nostril, Meaning rebounded as a sophomore to win multiple stakes including the Grade 2 Santa Anita Oaks.  She has since padded her stats with placings in the prestigious Grade 1 events the Kentucky Oaks and Acorn Stakes while already bankrolling $640k+ in career earnings.

Speed Shopper was a $430,000 pluck out of session 4 at Keeneland September, she took some patience with nagging issues as a younger filly but once she was able to show her talent on the racetrack there was no looking back.  As a multiple graded stakes winner with over $500k+ and a huge female family, this daughter of Quality Road is poised to light up the tote board when she is offered as a broodmare prospect.
